Our Deacons Pantry serves food to those in need in our church and in our community.
Church attenders may come at any time to the church office to receive a bag of food when they are in need. (Limit - 1 bag of food every 2 weeks)
Our community folks who are in need may come on the third Tuesday of each month from 9am - 11am. Proof of identity and a current proof of address are required. Families will receive 1 large bag of food. Up to two families in one household may receive food.
Our third way that our Deacons' are trying to help those who are hungry is by running an
ANGEL FOOD ministry here on our church campus. There are no income requirements for those who want to take advantage of this program.
Angel Food provides boxes of food for $30, the contents are valued at $50 or more. Other types of food boxes are available too (such as Senior boxes, Produce boxes, Seafood boxes).
Order Forms are available in the Front office. Food pick-up will be on the 3rd Saturday of each month from 1pm-2pm in the Church Fireside Room. (please check back regularly to see if pickup times change). Eventually you will be able to place on-line orders too, but we're just starting up - please be patient with us as we see what works for this ministry to be successful.

ARTS and CRAFT WORKSHOP - next on on February 20, 2010
This fundraising event will bring in funds for our church general budget to help us do outreach well and get others opportunities to hear the Good News of Jesus.
Using items from your home (such as pictures copied on paper, articles, poems, material, bottlecaps-whatever!) you will end up with a piece of art full of memories.
Cost is approximately $25 for materials and plan on spending the morning and part of the afternoon learning the process and creating. Bring a lunch or plan to come with friends and take a lunch break in town.
