Quite often we're told that life is short - and to enjoy it while we can. But when we're in the midst of a journey that is just not going well, the hours past oh, so agonizingly slowly. Life seems like an endless inevitability rather than a joyous adventure.

How do we stay focused on the journey? For the next 4 weeks we will explore God's suggestions to the Israelites, which, coincidentally, are words we need to pack up and take with us today as we travel.

God tells us to pick up each other's burdens, to keep moving-don't dig in, to trust in Him when the going gets tough and to offer intercessory prayer when we or our fellow journeyers revolt.
